Ronna Martin is an Executive Administrator with the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections (LMDC), who began her career as an entry-level admin assistant in 2013. She progressed into business management roles and special projects, where she discovered her passion for Corrections staff wellness and women’s leadership.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Campbellsville University, and she completed the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) Correctional Leadership Development (CLD) course in 2020. Additionally, she graduated from Louisville Metro Government’s Executive Fellows year-long leadership development program in 2019, as well as the Leadership Louisville Center’s Focus Louisville (FL) program in 2018.
She has served in multiple leadership capacities on LMDC teams, including Chief Coordinator of the Host Agency Planning Committee for the American Jail Association’s 38th Annual Conference and Jail Expo from 2018-2019.
She has played key roles in developing LMDC’s wellness program, as well as curriculum building and leading in their women’s leadership development initiative.
